Can anyone publish AW’s October poll results in Best Actor here??

I’m not in it, but I’m just curious.

Has anyone seen C’mon C’mon? Could Phoenix get nominated for it? (this picture was taken on October 4 at the NYFF screening of the film).

    He’s apparently a serious contender.

Another year, another Oscaar isaac performance that hovers around the top 10 but is no threat to break into the 5. If theres any actor that I want to see breakthrough, its him.

Pity about the globes, Garfield vs dinkelage would’ve been a pretty good battle.

Def interested in seeing this adaptation

    Looks great.

It’s also great to see Peter Dinklage in a leading role on a film of this scale.

I hope he gets the Oscar nomination for this.

Oscar Isaac is amazing in The Card Counter. Unfortunately, this is a Jake Gyllenhaal in Nightcrawler situation. A great performance that gets overlooked because they feel the film is weird and the field is overcrowded with the usual baits

    Laga Gaga for Best Actress.

House of Gucci for best picture.

Belfast for everything - Best Picture win

This has to be for Disappointment Boulevard right? There’s no way his hairline receded that much since April.

Do you think Phoenix has any chance to get nominated in actor or supporting actor for c’mon c’mon? Or we will have to wait next year for Ari Aster movie?

He’s definitely in the conversation (for lead actor in “C’mon C’mon”). This is his first role after the Oscar after all. His film is smaller than “Nightmare Alley” or “Don’t Look Up”, but I personally think that the critics are going to help him.
