Netflix is setting a whole campaign around it so yes it is hehe. Plus the high profile cast and director makes it enough to gather attention during the season.

Neither did The Big Short. But this film probably will fare even better due to the subject.
November 1, 2021 at 3:10 pm #1204551908House of Overacting very likely to earns only 3 noms (Actress, Costumes and Makeup) and maybe Loud Prosthetics for Supporting Actor. Driver seems very long shots for me darling.
Sad and pathetic comments like this makes me question how can there such… little whinning kids. I feel like a Oscars sub would be something more… amateur. Serious. Less cringe and less childish. But its just as dumb as any could be.
By the way. Either Al Pacino or Jared Leto are getting nominated. Probably both. They seem to have meaty roles and the Academy will eat this movie up. Big and flashy movies with big stars is what is going to prevail this year. Mostly. Sure some oscar baity crap is getting in.
November 1, 2021 at 3:30 pm #1204551942I learned after “Flight” never to bet against Denzel with Oscar buzz.
Denzel deserved that nomination and he should’ve won, too bad they went for the most baity role, i love Daniel Day Lewis but there was no need for him to win a third Oscar, specially in that year.

your life must be pretty sad and boring to take my comments so seriously darling. I’ll pray for your well being and may you find happiness.

I don’t care if he’s deserving (i doubt it) i can’t stand his narcissism, the guy is so full of himself.

What?! I know Jared – he’s a lovely man. A real nice guy, you might say. He likes a cult once in a while, but y’know.
I mean, he isn’t the sort of guy who would go on GoldDerby dot com everyday and check his awards chances, is he? That’s what a real narcissist would do.
November 1, 2021 at 9:55 pm #1204552546Christ guys, he’s obviously trolling. I mean, look at this whole forum in the last hour. Stop feeding the troll.
I’m hungry, though.

Well, if so, I’ll root for a tie at NYFCC between him and Clifton Collins Jr., then. 😉
