Hun, GoldDerby already has Viola number 1 only for her to lose yet again. They jinx her every time.

Your obsession with her is weird

One thing I read in the Emmy Ballot made me a bit worried about Stewart: Makes me wonder if voters may find this with Stewart too. I don’t know exactly since I’ve not watched the film but what are the thoughts of you all? I guess playing a beloved renowned character as Princess Diana does have its challenges.

This is what I have thought for a while. I know that Judy Garland and Freddie Mercury are giant stars, almost everyone knows who they are. The difference with Diana is that she literally lived and died on TV in front of us. The image. mannerisms and voice of Diana are etched into my mind. I think that will be very difficult for a lot of viewers to overcome.

Caitriona Balfe is a getting in somewhere weather it’s a lead actress or supporting Focus is a powerful studio if they campaign her in lead with Belfast growing as a best picture contender day after day she’ll get in lead even if her role is lead focus can fraud her into lead.

My current predictions as of September 19th (subject to change):

    Catriona Balfe, Belfast
Jessica Chastain, The Eyes of Tammy Faye
    Lady Gaga, House of Gucci
    Jennifer Hudson, Respect
    Kristen Stewart, Spencer

    Four impersonations of real-life celebrities… hmmm…

Not studio but distributor but ya don’t know where she going to be campaigned yet but if it’s lead I’ll say locked. Kristen Stewart
Caitriona Balfe Would be locked for me.

    1. Jessica Chastain (The Eyes of Tammy Faye)

    2. Kristen Stewart (Spencer)

    3. Penelope Cruz (Parallel Mothers)

    4. Cate Blanchett (Nightmare Alley)

    5. Nicole Kidman (Being The Ricardos)

Stewart’s Lady Di will probably be the only biopic performance I’m watching this year, tbh, since Spencer is the only “biopic” film I’m interested in. Unless Chastain wins eventually, then I guess I will go watch Tammy Faye.

I just thought about this. The Academy awarded Frances McDormand her 3rd Lead Oscar the same day Glenn Close and Diane Warren continued their losing streak.

And?? Oscars is an annual race, not a lifetime award.

I think you will be surprised. Nicole Kidman is also in contention for her Lucy.

Reading this forum gives me a headache.

My hopes of Renate Reinsve getting nominated here died yesterday when Worst Person didn’t place at TIFF, so I’m rooting for Kristen Stewart now. Hyped for other contenders, but Stewart seems like the contender I’d like to see win who is actually viable at this point. Not particularly a fan of Chastain and Hudson winning in all honesty.

Kidman is not happening for Lucy. She looks nothing like her.

Yes she’s in contention but It doesn’t mean she will be nominated the field strong with Stewart and Chastien leading. Kristen being the front runner.

and yet – Jennifer Hudson will likely win! (; There is a very strong possibility that four biopics will be in contention for Best Actress this year.

She’s not even in the conversation much. Your preferences are not equal with reality.

Best Actress in a Drama Series: Sandra Oh in "Killing Eve"

Best Actress in a Comedy Series: Sandra Oh in "The Chair"

Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series: Kim Joo-ryoung in "Squid Game"
