Comer has a stronger chance of winning in supporting but either way she’s getting a nomination.

Isn’t there a possibility the Globes still happen without a televised ceremony or no?

Keeping Gaga, Driver and the film in my Oscar predictions. However unless the field ends up being weak, this is coming for zero acting nominations at BAFTA. This is the exact type of thing the jury was set up to stop from getting nominated lmfao.

    Oscars FYC:
"Shiva Baby" – in all categories especially Picture, Adapted Screenplay, Score
"Together" – in all categories especially Actress (Sharon Horgan), Actor (James McAvoy), Original Screenplay
"CODA" – in all categories especially Supporting Actor (Troy Kotsur)
"Everybody's Talking About Jamie" – Supporting Actor (Richard E. Grant), Supporting Actress (Sarah Lancashire)
"I'm Your Man" – International Feature
"Summer of Soul" – Documentary Feature

I’m not a believer in this movie for Best Picture. It looks like a complete wacko mess and could honestly be terrible. Gaga has no chance at winning for this

    FYC
Best Picture: The Worst Person in the World
    Best Director: Jane Campion
    Best Actor: Benedict Cumberbatch
    Best Actress: Renate Reinsve
    Best Supporting Actor: Benedict Wong
    Best Supporting Actress: Kirsten Dunst
Best Adapted Screenplay: The Power of the Dog
Best Original Screenplay: The Worst Person in the World

FTFY. Nina Sayers isnt as bold as Cassie, Harding, Amy Dunne and Aileen Wuornoss. Shes more like victim of her own obsession

I just mean bold in terms of how big the performance is. But yes, I would agree with this statement

    FYC

Exactlyyy! What part of that trailer screams Oscar? I mean the same Academy that voted for movies like Minari, Judas, PYW last year is going to vote this in for Best Picture??

I think it could be the “10th nominee”.

Just pointing out the fact that BAFTAs are racist. Also their recent fraudulent jury system may not work in Gaga’s favour

Just because YOUR favourite doesn’t get in it becomes fraudulent? Last year BAFTA’s had the best nominees and helped in bringing underseen movies to the limelight. What do you think Awards are about? It shouldn’t be about awarding the same people over and over again. I love that this system prevents actors like Judi Dench, Maggie Smith (whom I love but are totally over-nominated) from getting nominated over and over again. It matters that actors like Wunmi, Bukky, Radha Blank get recognized. Especially when their movies are so original. Awards should never be a popularity contest.
