Honestly I think Ridley himself did this whole thing better with All the Money in the World.
I was wondering how it would stack up against that film, which I wanted to like far more than I actually did (vs. The Last Duel, which was the opposite situation for me). I was always hopeful that Hayek would shine through whatever else was going on in House of Gucci, so good to hear reports she delivers.
Also interesting that people are embracing Leto, whose scenes in the two trailers struck me as blunt grotesquerie that was not in line with the more sharply defined camp i’d been hoping for from the other clips. I imagined I’d be sucked into the film for a stretch, and then here comes “Pizza Box Paolo” to toss around some cliched meatball lines around (Oopha!) to take me right out of it, leaving me pining for the time he’s again off-screen to resume enjoying the film.

He is an actor and SAG member…November 4, 2021 at 4:57 am #1204556578
I don’t get these reviews. The movie is lifeless but dialog is even wittier than the trailers suggest. So witty dialog, excellent performances = lifeless movie?
I’m lost.November 4, 2021 at 5:44 am #1204556599
Does anyone here remembers in what category Kate Winslet in The Reader got campaigned? She won GG, SAG an majority of critics awards in Supporting and then suddenly got nominated for lead and won at the Oscar.
Could Queen Blanchett in Carol 2 get into the lead?
FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION DARLING.

There’s no reason for reactions to be embargoed unless it’s is a mess, just like we suspected.November 4, 2021 at 6:19 am #1204556628
So we have 3 tweets from actor/sag members/critic choice voter/reporter/journalist saying HOG is super entertaining and that Gaga was good…then we have some letterboxd reviews from anonymous people trying to make it look like a bad movie.
I can already sense Gaga haters losing their mind cause they know she is coming!November 4, 2021 at 6:25 am #1204556632

It is embargoed for a day then no. Lot of movies like lost daughter and others had embargoes of a day or more.
If embargo lifts just before premiere then it could signal bad things.November 4, 2021 at 6:28 am #1204556638
How is that anyone is talking about Jessica in in Tammy Faye? She is phenomenal and I can perfectly see her getting a nomination.November 4, 2021 at 6:41 am #1204556654
What are you on about? There’s an embargo for almost every type of reviews including videogames. An embargo doesn’t mean that they wait till before release day, from my understanding it looks like a 1 day embargo. Not now
