Lawrence has been attached to play Holmes for several years. I’m assuming this will be delayed further with her pregnancy and the fact that there has been no real development other than a script being worked on. The HBO documentary on Holmes was very intriguing.
I wonder if the movie will ever really be made because Hulu has recently finished filming a six episode miniseries for Hulu which stars Amanda Seyfried as Elizabeth Holmes and her co-stars include Laurie Metcalfe, Stephen Frye, William H.Macy, Sam Waterson, Kate Burton and Elizabeth Marvel.

The Worst Person in the WorldNovember 8, 2021 at 7:27 pm #1204566083I can’t wait until tomorrow night. Hopefully Tessa and Ruth knock it out the park. The trailer and book were both great.
November 8, 2021 at 8:01 pm #1204566136Renate Reinsve or even Virginie Efira should win this but they won’t even be nominated. I’m pissed. So much talent in foreign movies and it will go unrecognized once again.
November 8, 2021 at 8:50 pm #1204566189Question: If the Golden Globes are happening, What category does Jessica Chastian compete in? Is her role comedic or dramatic? There’s a high possibility that Jhud is going into the Musical/Comedy category while KStew, Olivia, Penelope, Gaga are in Drama.
I think both Jennifer Hudson and Jessica Chastain go to Drama.
Recently musician’s biopics or dramedy go to Drama like Promising Young Woman, A Star Is Born, Bohemian Rhapsody, Billie Holliday, and even Three Billboards…TED LASSO & THE WHITE LOTUS in EVERY CATEGORIES!
November 8, 2021 at 9:39 pm #1204566239Pretty sure HoG will go to comedy. If Vice was comedy what makes you think HoG will be different? Even The Favourite went Comedy.

I mean Vice and The Favourite were very much both (dark) comedies
November 9, 2021 at 2:29 am #1204566428According to British Vogue, Angelina Jolie, Penelope Cruz and Margot Robbie once circled the role of Patrizia in HoG. The mention of Jolie and Cruz isn’t surprising because their names have been reported for years, but Margot is surprising. I’m not sure I believe the part about Margot and even if it was true, when would she have been considered? After her Oscar nomination for I, Tonya or sometime in 2019 before Gaga signed on? Also: Ridley crediting Gaga’s casting for the film’s release is baffling. Jolie, Robbie & Cruz aren’t D-listers.

Based on the trailer alone I am rooting for Renate Reinsve – can’t wait to see her movie! (: I love Virginie Efira – didn’t realize she has a film out this year? She was amazing in An Impossible Love a few years ago. Is her new film strong enough for her to win the Cesar award this year?

Efira, Rampling and Wilson are all Oscar worthy in Benedetta but the Academy won’t touch it because of the subject matter/no release date yet.
Best we can hope for is maybe some critics mentions
