The way winning the screenplay globe in particular is almost like a curse . They awarded Sorkin and Fennell won, Quentin and then Bong won… PTA is probably gonna blackmail the HFPA into voting for Branagh or Sorkin this year.

Still horrifies me that the only GG screenplay winner to break the curse recently is Green Book of all movies.

The way the Globes didn’t even nominate the adapted screenplay winner that year. The fact Green Book won over The Favourite was bad enough.

From Variety:

Lawrence, who hasn’t been back to the ceremony since “Joy” (2015), is hands down the most “likable” character but seems to be missing the “Oscar clip” that is needed to breakout. However, she does have the best long-running joke of the film that plays throughout and has excellent chemistry with Chalamet.
