    1. Nicole Kidman

    2. Olivia Colman

    3. Frances McDormand

    4. Lady Gaga

    5. Rachel Zegler

This lineup is entirely possible, KStew began as the frontrunner, but then lost Volpi to Cruz, received bad audience scores, poor box office, bad headlines around her Oscar buzz, lost NBR to Zegler and NYFCC to Gaga. Her momentum has come to a screeching halt.

You may be speaking too soon because Kristen could very well win maybe 2 out of the 3 circles this morning. I’d wait before making such a bold prediction. Now if she doesn’t win any of the 3 you may be justified.

Name a single winner in the last 10 years that didn’t win some of the major critics circles? I mean even Frances won WAFCA last year (among many others). So yes Kidman needs to win some of the major circles to remain one of the favorites.

Kidman is a lock for a nom. She will get nominated (at the very least) in almost everything and that alone will be enough.

Hype is huge and she’s getting in no matter what IMO.

Yes a nomination is likely. Though it’d be hard to argue she’s the frontrunner or a lock if that doesn’t materialize into some major circles wins. There’s a difference between filler nomination and win competitive nomination. Right now Kidman is considered win competitive. But if she doesn’t win some of these awards, she may no longer be.

    We’ll know soon enough.

Someone should probably check over 10 years to know which groups have the most accuracy.

If Colman wins D.C the race will get a lot more messy than it already is.
