I still expect the industry to like this movie, especially Kidman’s performance.
Remember when I told ya WIGSMAN was jinxed. No Aaron Sorkin actor has won an Oscar ever.

The problem is that Kidman is not getting raves like from the twitter reactions. Some critics have outrightly panned her performance. Even the harshest of critics still praised Gaga and Chastain

We certainly jumped the gun declaring it rotten, but you can’t deny that it’s nothing like what it’s been hyped to be. In a year like this, there’s not going to be room for too many middling biopics.
Now that I watched all of them, I reaffirm my stan list with property:
Lady Gaga – House of Gucci
Tilda Swinton – Memoria
Frances Mcdormand – The Tragedy of Macbeth
Jodie Comer – The Last Duel
Kristen Stewart – SpencerFYC:

I don’t entirely agree. I just think that the people who were hyping it weren’t the ones to write the reviews. Someone has pointed this out before, but critics =/= all the bloggers, pundits, journalists, etc. that compose these early reactions. There is an overlap, but a lot of these early reactions come from people who either don’t write reviews or whose reviews don’t factor into the MC and RT scores. That’s why we’re constantly seeing this big difference between reactions and actual reviews.
Agree with others that awards may get split up this year. Stewart’s the only one I see having a legitimate shot at all of the BAFTA, SAG, and GG, with a serious sneaky threat from Colman on the first two.
We’ll probably get through part 45 next Monday lol
When Gaga wins SAG and becomes top two at BAFTA. Lol. I’d love to see it
