The great thing is that, as films grow more and more niche, these stan wars will only get more and more bitter and stubborn.

So you are saying that haters are so strong against Stewart that they are actually going to spend 10-12 dollars buying a ticket just to post a negative review when they can do it for free everywhere else?
    Make it make sense.

doesn’t matter since its just 250+ RT audiences vs 80k other on IMDB and Letterbox. minority with less than 1%. the critics is the one that matter. now HOG at 60% on RT with 273. and yellow on metacritic. Best Actress winner rarely has rotten movie. you should worry about that rather than 250+ unknown people.

Meryl Streep in “The Iron Lady” remains the only BA winner with a rotten movie this millennium.

Glenn Close’s “Albert Nobbs” was also nominated that year, but she didn’t win.

JLaw’s Joy has 60 on RT, but it’s still fresh. Let’s see if HOG will remain fresh.
It’s too statistically improbable for Gaga to get nominated this year (let alone win the top prize).

It seems like Gaga is out. There is no way she’s going to be nominated with a rotten tomato. The only rotten movies that have been nominated in the BA actress category over the past 20 years had Glenn Close and Meryl Streep. She might sneak in if the score remains above 60, but it’s teetering on the cusp of turning rotten now.

She is still in, the film has mixed reviews, but so do the films of Chastain, Hudson, Kidman and others. Until it officially goes Rotten let’s not say she is out. There are unadded Fresh reviews still.

Who cares? Critics aren’t going easy on many films this year, and a bunch of Best Actress hopefuls are in mixed movies. If any year was the year to be a Best Actress contender in a mixed movie and not have your campaign sink it is this year. House of Gucci is still the most successful Best Actress vehicle, and Gaga still has NYFCC and raves.

The last Film to win below 80% was The Iron Lady with a 52% RT score, while also having a mediocre audience score 51%. That was in 2012 ceremony. Almost a decade ago.

Then Gaga is less win competitive for sure, but she is still a strong contender for a nomination, especially considering she is a big part of the reason the film is holding onto that fresh tomato.

It is kinda early to rule her out, we have to see the televised awards and the bigger awards of the season in January. This year has no guaranteed outcome for who is winning.

Why are people so focused on Rotten Tomatoes? Metacritic is a better review aggregator to measure critical reception of prestige films. RT is better for popcorn flicks.

I think due to the fact RT is bigger representation, since it allows more reviews than MC. Also, RT just counts whether the reviewer feels overall positive or negative feelings for the movie. Anyways, this just a statistical thing that Best Actress Films since  2013 have a 80% RT score. We will find out if it matters or not this year.

I don’t need your validation. I’m saying it in general. i even included bruised and being with ricardos you can’t deny that the house of gucci isn’t a masterpiece. Get over it.

No one be ever said Gucci was a masterpiece. But you and a thousand others called Ricardos a sure BP contender with Kidman having it in the bag. Oh well……

    Anticipate "Hold My hand".

    Lady Gaga is a genius
