YOU said facts, not I. You should read what you write before you respond. You said I don’t want to hear FACTS about my fave… End of story.

film having an early release and having so little to no festival run decreases its chances, even if chastain is undeniable that is a fact.but whatever, sure darling you are right

But please how is Michelle Williams television role a drag when she received raves and won an Emmy. If that’s a flop I fear for the other actresses lmao.

She also became the second person from a limited series to ever sweep all the major television awards (Critics Choice, Emmy, Globes, SAG and TCA).

There is no personal opinion regarding Chastain’s chances. There is huge hesitation due to the nature of her film and the September release date.

I am a big fan of Penélope Cruz but I also fear for her chances in the field since it’s a foreign language performance which don’t always get nominated at the Oscars. And if she doesn’t win the Volpi Cup she’s done.

    anyways they’re coming

    Told y’all.

Between Olivia Colman being Netflix Best Actress priority, Penélope Cruz’s film premiering in NYFF and Venice and Kidman being confirmed in the race, Best Actress race is not weak or boring anymore.

I can see Olivia making it, I was indeed searching for her name in my best actress prediction today in here, I can see somebody who is largely predicted in general missing and Olivia taking that spot.

Chanstain has chances if her performance gets raves and the movie turns out to be an ‘I, Tonya’ level of good to make it.

    I think:
    1. Lady Gaga (House of Gucci)
    2. Nicole Kidman (Being the Ricardos)
    3. Jennifer Hudson (Respect)
    4. Kirsten Dunst (The Power of the Dog)
And 5 could be anyone, I assume either Kristen Stewart or Cate Blanchett.
