From what we’ve seen over the last few years, BAFTA win is a HUGE indicator of who’s taking that Oscar. I mean who really saw Mcdormand coming? So, until BAFTA announces their winner, no one is a clear front runner.

January 16, 2022 at 10:51 am #1204731979…and there goes Zegler’s career. She’s probably get nominated though. https://mobile.twitter.com/mich_____00/status/1482618971912343553
Saying Ziegler’s career is over is deranged. Why can’t people on social media just say that something is wrong or that they don’t like something that a celeb did or said without this insane hyperbole? Social media claimed, Chris Pratt, James Gunn and Gal Gadot’s careers were over as well and they aren’t.

This could be the true now. Sag is only good nomination wise but with actual Oscar nomination or even win Bafta is a good indicator. As per Frances last year. Omg Erik such a
Spencer whore.Post-GG/SAG nomination Oscar predix and yes, we go long on Best Actress with SIX different predicted lineups 🤣 @RedCarpetRachel @Muffin_Chips @awards_watch @RobMontoya5 @JohnLoosWins https://t.co/7HvReyjiDs

January 16, 2022 at 10:57 am #1204732001BAFTA wasn’t a good indicator for Oscar nominations last year. They snubbed many of the best actress nominees.

We all know that the industry and film twitter has always been divided. I’m glad Halle and Nicole won their Oscar without this hoopla of film twitter.
January 16, 2022 at 11:24 am #1204732035How ironic that these critics awards stopped crowning Stewart since her Oscar winning chance died down, I thought they were giving awards to the best instead of predicting the Oscar? Even worse, the Dallas fort-worth critics even ranked their five nominees, making them look more suspicious, what a joke.
I admit there are critics groups that truly don’t care about the Oscar and simply want to award the talents, but many of the groups are just a bunch of pundits going with the flow, without an ounce of independent thinking.
January 16, 2022 at 11:29 am #1204732039Nominatons:
Kidman, Gaga, Jessica, Olivia—–kristen/Jhud/Rachel
winner will be either kidman, gaga or olivia (less likely).
January 16, 2022 at 11:33 am #1204732046SAG is 100% between Kidman and Gaga
Bafta is between Colman and Gaga
if Lady is #2 in both sag and in Bafta, and Gucci sneaks in the BP category, Gaga might take the gold home

What happened? She deleted it

I don’t know. Kidman is gonna be a big threat at BAFTA, plus Joanna Scanlen is apparently a contender (I haven’t seen her film, so I can’t say). It does bode well for Gaga, though, that they loved HoG.
January 16, 2022 at 11:55 am #1204732073Kinda dont want Colman to win, she already won so recently
but then again, i havent seen her movie yet!
my personal favs from the women that will most likely be nominated:
Jessica>Gaga>Kidman>Kristen (Dont know about colman, will watch tomorrow maybe)
in terms of movies overall
Hog>Eye of T> Being the ricardos>spencer
that being said, The last duel is better than all of these movies, and jodie was on par with gaga and jessica
January 16, 2022 at 11:55 am #1204732075Olivia wins also Kansas, Stewart runner-up
Kansas is the second oldest film critics organisation in USA.
