Good day for Colman with critics. With Kristen’s frontrunner status waning it seems like they’re shifting towards her a bit more now.

    FYC:

2 wins and 1 RU for Colman this weekend brings her to second place on the metacritic scorecard

    Olivia

Meh. No one was rooting for Maggie more than I was, but Flop Daughter sucked. The whole symbolic doll thing dominating the movie and failed to land cinematically…I guess it worked better in book form?

Movies either being Marvel drivel or obtuse arthouse movies like Lost Daughter that no one cares about or can connect to will be the end of cinema.

I wonder if today’s critics wins are the beginning of a wave of momentum for Colman. It’s interesting to think about. If the critics were really rallying towards Stewart because she thought she was winning the Oscar, maybe they’re rallying towards Colman for the same reason?

That Olivia performance in The Lost Daughter is one BORING performance. Gurl made me sleep 5 times.

Its interesting to note that even with the critics shiffiting from Kristen to others no one yet gave Kidman a win or even a runner up, she is the new frontrunner but with only a GG

Yeah, it’s puzzling. You would think that Kidman would’ve won at least one critics’ award by now.

The critics/pundits this year are just laughable. LOL

Not even a nomination lol. This is just similar to Will Smith.

Olivia seems to be the safest for a nod. I wonder if she can win the Critic’s Choice.?.?.

I can see that happening if they don’t wanna reward Stewart because of her freefall from frontrunner status. Colman is #3 behind Kidman and Gaga IMO, but she’s definitely a dark horse to win it all unlike Stewart at the moment.
