The fact that y’all are making this thread about Film Twitter’s disapproval of Gaga’s performance and award show contention is the funny part. Who cares what they think and how is it relevant to her chances here?
She made SAG for actress and ensemble, Bafta top 2 and is locked for an Oscar nomination but some still look for reasons to complain.
It’s incredibly weak for an “expert” on Awards Season to go at any given contender personally because they didn’t like their performance and/or film. It’s one thing to go at them in private, but publicly? That’s way below the belt.

I saw that tweet, I think she meant its going to be Gaga’s night in London, following with how meaningless it is to the oscars (lol)
What I find especially wrong is that if Olivia Colman was nominated at BAFTA instead of Lady Gaga,they pundits would have called Colman as the easy winner and brought up the stat of the high correlation between BAFTA and Oscar winners. But since it’s Lady Gaga who has made the BAFTA, a lot of them are not recognising her frontrunner status and are ignoring the BAFTA-Oscar correlation by saying that “Well, the other contenders are not nominated,so it’s an uneven playing field.”
Does he not realize how ridiculous he sounds? I don’t know why i’m wasting time on watching this. But in the last few days, I’ve enjoyed nothing more than watching these videos of pundits fuming over Gaga as she keeps rising. Now we reached new low of personal attacks against her…

Indiewire should drop her. Like you can predict Gaga at #100 if you want. Say that her performance is not good or whatever. But to make personal attacks like that, YIKES!
