Actually they changed from BFCA to CCA (Critics Choice Association) in 2019 because of the merge between BFCA (Broadcast Film Critics Association) and BTJA (Broadcast Television Journalists Association).

Your NGNG prediction for Best Actress noms on Tuesday:

Penelope Cruz nominated

Historically we don’t see wild surprises from actresses that appeared in SAG. I don’t know if Cruz is considered a NGNG, because with missing  everywhere she must be considered as such, don’t get why so many pundits predict her lightly at this point 😭.

The last 10 pages have been people actually doing a healthy conversation and fine predictions based on the last news (LFCC and BAFTA). Plus the obvious troll is banned before he inevitably creates a new account. So I don’t see the need of this rant right now.

It’s her or Chastain in my fifth spot and I can’t decide. Chastain is most likely but at same time Cruz could happen because the Volpi Cup and LAFCA+NSFC wins

Goldderby in November: HOG is mixed on Rotten Tomatoes, Gaga is out.

Goldderby after NYFCC: This doesn’t matter, NYFCC doesn’t predict BA anyway. A fluke!!

Goldderby in December: Box office doesn’t matter this year. Gaga can’t win for playing a murderer and won’t make BAFTA where KStew and Colman will.

Goldderby in January: KStew missing SAG is okay, this made her an underdog. Gaga is still not the frontrunner, and won’t make BAFTA.
