Thrilled for Mawma! It was her time, and she pulled off the victory in a close race. Great acceptance speech and dress! Wish I stuck with her to the end, but the anonymous ballots persuasively convinced me to switch over to Cruz. Lesson learned! Until next year…

Wanda Sykes, I think that is how you spell it, spoke out against Will Smith. Good for her and I am proud of Jessica for getting up there and being professional after the debacle that shook everybody. I know Will received his Oscar before hand and gave his speech, but still the night was kinda ruined after that.

I don’t regret going for Cruz. I loved her performance and it added some fun. Plus her huge lead in ballots made it that much harder to bet against her since I already had her in first before. But Chastain is a lovely winner in her own right, and was also a bit of an underdog so it’s nice to see a fairytale ending for her.
