Can Drive My Car be added into the prediction center for Picture, Director, Screenplay, etc.

It just won best picture at the NY Film Critics.

The Power of the Dog will be clearing

Having just seen it, it’s far more accessible than I thought. It is accessible period. So yes, it might do the trick for Netflix. Also, I wasn’t bored to my other surprise.

And it’s sure as hell pretty to look at. Over-reliant on pretty landscape shots every 2 min (you’ll be hard pressed to find scenes without windows or open doors showing the magnificent mountains in the background) but that helps it be an easy watch.

I see it;s posting strong viewing numbers on streaming so that’s good too.

Best Supporting Actress and Actor also (they’re fab)

Justice for Passing, Tessa Thompson & Ruth Negga.

The Power of the Dog / Jane Campion / Benedict Cumberbatch / Kristen Stewart / Kirsten Dunst / Troy Kotsur

I agree with this, but then the audience score on RT is getting lower (I don’t know if PETA has anything to do with this)

The marketing was kinda misleading, though. Especially the second trailer. The first trailer was a better picture of the movie.

It does I think! They’re also comment-bombing them on Instagram.

I’m guessing they are because it’s been steadily getting better on IMDb and is up to 7 now. Also it has 14k reviews there, that’s NUTS!!!

Yeah the score dropped too fast in just one day and they’ve been encouraging others on Twitter to go on the movie’s pages on different sites and rate it 1.  Lunatic behavior.

That’s why I don’t look at audience scores.

Added C’mon C’mon in my BP predictions because the line up of 10 could open space for some passion picks, like A Serious Man, An Education and Winter’s Bone

Could also be The Lost Daughter (I have it right now) or a foreign film.

It’s a shame none of the critic circles really picked it up by now.
