clayton and sasha stone both think that fifth spot in ACE drama is between CODA and no time to die
Erik Anderson and Will Mavity both said West Side Story is placed as Drama at ACE. The latter is extremely reliable when it comes to these type of below the line stuff.

I agree with Dune winning BP. Belflop needs to overperform at BAFTA or win SAG ensemble to still be called a frontrunner at this point.

January 26, 2022 at 1:46 pm #1204751547Yeah Dune is a technical masterpiece and we can all agree on that but I think it just doesn’t have that emotional core. What I’m trying to say is that you don’t feel too much for the characters like for instance when half of the main dude’s family gets killed off I did not care or feel anything tbh and none of the characters were easy to get attached to. This might be me just being weird about it but that’s why I think it’s not in the run to win BP.

mm that’s strange because clayton says today that in the heights and cyrano are placed in ACE as drama but west side story in comedy/musical

January 26, 2022 at 2:45 pm #1204751762I wonder if NA will continue overperforming tomorrow or will it end there with PGA?

January 26, 2022 at 2:54 pm #1204751789Belfast is not the frontrunner anymore, honestly. It’s lost a lot and even missed some nominations. I think it is still a contender to win. But right now, the frontrunner is The Power of the Dog. Until Belfast wins something of note, it won’t be the frontrunner in my eyes.
I think it’s a weak front runner as I’ve said all along. It keeps on underperforming eg AACTA the latest, yet many of the big pundits are sticking to it like glue
January 26, 2022 at 3:08 pm #1204751836Belfast was never the frontrunner. The only reason people were eager to predict it was that they anticipated it to do well once the televised awards started. That Golden Globes loss showed that that wasn’t the case. It can still win but it’s not the frontrunner.

January 26, 2022 at 7:04 pm #1204752280What time does PGA noms come out? Their website says voting ends today at 5pm. I don’t know how long they need to calculate those votes, it shouldn’t take long.

I think it’s a close race. Belfast is being pushed by pundits- some are literally campaigning for it- I think it’s slightly ahead barring any snubs tomorrow, until BAFTA speaks.
Many have already dismissed GG even after they predicted it there & it lost.
I think the Netflix bias & the dark nature of TPOTD has led to too much confidence in Belfast.
