I have a strong feeling about a possible Jonah Hill nomination, don’t ask me why.

Best Actress in a Drama Series: Sandra Oh in "Killing Eve"

Best Actress in a Comedy Series: Sandra Oh in "The Chair"

Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series: Kim Joo-ryoung in "Squid Game"

Hawkins won’t get in. But it’s not his fault… MacDuff isn’t exactly the most interesting character in Shakespeare’s oeuvre.

Yea macdoofus has one purpose in the play when hes not being an idiot.

Serious question… how locked is Richard Jenkins?

I mean, I kind of don’t see The Humans being a player in other categories, so… I think it’s very hard to see him winning.

A very annoying young man, who loves cinema. 🙂

It’s a pretty uninspiring race so far. I honestly see Dornan or Smit-McPhee winning even less than Jenkins.

Is anyone even locked here? I literally don’t know what’s happening with this category this year. No one seems to be strong or even strong-ish here.

In what world would Bradley win the Oscar with no precursors? That doesn’t make sense to me.

Not sure what would be more of a nightmare – Bradley Cooper winning an Oscar or Jared Leto winning his second. I choose death.

They’re the two most likely, to be honest… Maybe Ciaran Hinds has an outside chance, but idk.

Cooper winning an Oscar isn’t that bad, he’s just not an amazing actor. Leto on the other hand… get his ass away from the stage.

Exactly. So let an amazing actor win it instead. 🙂

Still better than Leto winning tho

But yeah, let an amazing actor win instead. We know Carey’s gonna outact him in Maestro.

A category primed for “surprise” or coattail nominees. I’m still #TeamJenkins for the win but my bet for a surprise nom is Jon Bernthal in King Richard, as I figure that film will be one of a few with strong momentum during the thick of the season.

    Best Picture: Jockey
    Director: Clint Bentley
    Actor: Clifton Collins Jr.
    Supporting Actress: Molly Parker
    Supporting Actor: Moises Arias
Original Screenplay: Clint Bentley, Greg Kwedar
    Cinematography: Adolpho Veloso
    Film Editing: Parker Laramie
Music Score: Aaron & Bryce Dessner

JK Simmons is said to be incredible (as is Nicole) in the Ricardos film. (Javier Bardem…not so much.)
