She should be one of the frontrunners darlings. The fact she has been paid dust all season is ridiculous. The absolute disrespect.

From Loving to Passing, I can sleep well tonight assured that Ruth Negga is getting that second Oscar nomination.

DeBose is in front, but I still think Negga has a chance. Let’s see what SAG and BAFTA do.

Balfe is the only possible upset, if there does end up being a feeling about it being weird for DeBose to win while Moreno is right there.

Continue with Dunst & Negga Nonsense: The Thread, though.

Raw and real performances haven’t done well this year. Plimpton, Dowd, and Buckley gave raw and real performances that were out of this world good.

I love Ariana’s performance and am so happy for her but these other three performances were equally amazing!

Balfe surprised me today. She was the only one in her movie to get a nomination and the only actress in this category to net two nominations (with Ensemble). Other than Kotsur, she’s the only largely unknown to get both nominations. She’s also in one of the Best Picture frontrunners. While I don’t think she will win, I don’t think she is #4 either as most of us thought.

Negga also surprised. This is a huge win for her.

Balfe was the only one of the BELFAST cast I felt was worthy to get a nomination…even though she probably wouldn’t have made my lineup.

    I’m still pulling for Negga!

Raw and real performances haven’t done well this year. Plimpton, Dowd, and Buckley gave raw and real performances that were out of this world good.

Or maybe, just maybe, Mass had the floppiest promotion of the season. Voters can’t vote if they aren’t aware or reminded of the film.

I found the cast very good but they were baity as fuck and would certainly be nomd if properly campaigned. There’s nothing to do with “raw” or “bold”. This gotta stop.
