DiCaprio might not be playing Lead in KOFM if they are following book.

He was initially signed on as “Tom White” which is lead and titular character in the Novel but now he is listed as “Ernest Buckhart” which is a minor character in books comparatively to “William Hale”(De Niro) and “Tom White”(TBA).It could be a 3 manner ensemble also.

Too premature to talk about 2021/2022 but Scorsese may even win Directing this time around for KOFTM since unlike The Irishman, it’s likely to be a relevant, timely and important piece of filmmaking.

    Actor:

    1. A. Driver (Annette)

    2. L. DiCaprio (Killers of The Flower Moon)

    3. B. Pitt (Babylon)

    4. C. Bale (Amsterdam)

    5. W. Smith (King Richard)

Can we all agree that Willem Dafoe is overdue and just throw him a career win? Let’s start the campaign girls.

For what, though? He doesn’t have anything this year that could give him anything. His best shot was probably The Florida Project which lost momentum at exactly the wrong time(When Three Billboards started to really gain momentum) and besides, I don’t see anything that could be baity enough to get him the nod/win.
