Distribution is a nightmare. Here in Australia, Parasite’s general release was in July. I saw it way back in early July, which was perfect because i managed to avoid spoilers. Sucks that Neon is distributing it so late to the UK where audiences could be privy to spoilers. The best way for Parasite to be experienced to go in with no knowledge.

Actually it was in June and is still playing. Coming to Blu Ray in February.

For those who have already seen this film, do you think any of the actresses could potentially slip into the Oscar conversation this season. Both female acting categories are pretty empty this year, and I’m wondering if Parasite will pull a Roma and get surprise nominations in lead and/or supporting.

^^^Very unlikely. They are all excellent and deserve a place but unless one of them can get a foothold into the critics awards they will be overlooked.

Biggest wish is that SAG will fall under the spell of Parasite and it can gain an ensemble nomination. Would be the highlight of the year.

Note to all SAG members and friends of SAG members. Watch the film and make your SAG friends watch it!

Parasite is one of the few movies that honestly deserves its 100% rating on RT like The Third Man, Rashomon, City Lights, etc.

Armond White strikes again! Bye bye 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes. You can’t make this up. https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/parasite_2019/reviews?sort=rotten

Isn’t he that worthless moron who heckled Steve McQueen to his face? That dullard is more concerned with conservative-centric rants that are barely related to the film at hand than actual criticism. A useless cretin.

he’s from National Review. The same publication where another ‘journalist’  Kyle Smith ruined Marriage Story’s 100% on RT.

Just got back from Arclight and yes…I had my own prediction of where there movie would go after reading synopsis and some reviews but wheew never I thought the movie would unravel that way. Due to some humor feel it’s quite a crowdpleaser yet it was a complex story that needs repeat viewing.

Song Kang-ho should win an Oscar for this performance, though I won’t be silly and predict that to happen, but he really should get nominated.

Once upon a time he was a valuable critic. Not any more. Same applies to Rex Reed.

Beyond frustrating this isn’t released until next year in the UK.

It wasn’t even screening at the LFF. Ridiculous.
