    I’ll start.

    1. There Will Be Blood
    2. The Master
    3. Boogie Nights
    4. Punch-Drunk Love
    5. Phantom Thread
    6. Magnolia
    7. Inherent Vice
    8. Hard Eight

For me, There Will Be Blood will remain to be his most prominent work ever. No Country for Old Men, also a God-tier film, won against it by just a hair.

HUGE PTA fan here (spot my DP as Rollergirl from Boogie Nights) my all-time favorite, I really follow his work :>

    Here’s my list:

    1. There Will Be Blood
    2. The Master

These two consecutive works took his art to a whole new level. His style went from the exuberant pacing and dynamic camera movement (Boogie Nights, Magnolia) to a more sombre, character-driven style of storytelling. Plainview and Freddie are undeniably the deepest characters he has created thus far and his visual literacy in directing really went top since these films.

    3. Magnolia
MY PERSONAL FAVORITE movie of all time. It just gives everything to you on a screen. The prologue justifies its mess that what if everything just happens altogether by chance? That’s the point of cinema and how it allows for ambitious ways of storytelling like this; that yes, wouldn’t have worked elsewhere.

    4. Boogie Nights
Other fans would argue this as the #1 and rightly so with the atmosphere by the many characters that really takes you on a ride that adds magic to one of PTA’s rather simpler stories.

    5. Phantom Thread
    6. Punch Drunk Love
    7. Inherent Vice
    8. Hard Eight

I don’t think he’s ever made a bad movie. Some are better than others, but he’s got a great track record.

There Will Be Blood is still my favorite.  Followed by Magnolia.
