Darling, the husbands of suffering wives always got snubbed at the Oscars, the most egregious are Donald Sutherland in Ordinary People, Jean-Louis Trintignant in Amour, Gordon Pinsent in Away From Her and Tom Courtenay in 45 Years.

Those performances are equally mesmerizing as their on-screen partner.

Thomasin McKenzie in Jojo Rabbit. The fact that ScarJo is the one who gets all the recognizition for the movie while Thomasin barely picks few critics nomination will never sit right with me. Its like Judi Dench-Catriona Balfe for Belfast.
