I’m bored and want to make a mess tonight so here we go
Rami Malek, BoRape (do I need to explain)
Roberto Benigni, Life is Beautiful (acting, sweetie, I’m so sorry)
Renee Zellweger, Judy (over the rainbows this performance wasn’t)
Everyone that wasn’t Frances McDormand, Three Billboards (Woody, Sam, and most especially Abbie, y’all should be embarrassed)
Matthew McConaughey and Jarod Leto, Dallas Buyers Club (the sheer audacity of these performances’ existence is so homophobic/transphobic)
Toni Collette, I’m Thinking of Ending Things and Hereditary (I thought of ending things each time I saw her in both of these movies)
Joaquin Phoenix, Joker (give back the world its $1 billion)
Kathy Bates, Richard Jewell (this was not a jewel lemme tell you that)
Jessica Chastain in about everything that’s not Molly’s Game or Miss Sloan (whew she lacks talent)
Fences (Denzel or Viola? take your guess)
Ladies and gays, I’m sorry for everyone offended by my severe spillage, but it’s just what it is. But your turn now xoxo.

Natalie Wood, Splendor in the Grass

Geraldine Page, Summer and Smoke (this one, in particular, could be the worst performance to ever be nominated for an Oscar)October 14, 2020 at 7:37 pm #1203779587This post was found to be inappropriate by the moderators and has been removed.October 14, 2020 at 7:48 pm #1203779615rami malek in BoRap will always be first place but:

Yeah a lot of these are definitely ‘I didn’t like it’ rather than ‘it was objectively bad’.
ReplyCopy URLOctober 15, 2020 at 5:02 am #1203780061Maybe these should be called “prestige performances we find Razzie worthy”.
i find bad prestige performances much worse than actual bad performance from actors that didn’t try.
