Game of Thrones is, probably, the most famous Series of all time. Different to 99% of Series, Game of Thrones was a huge success Worldwide. So, why only Peter Dinklage is getting good work after it? The cast, especially women, aren’t getting offers. Only Peter Dinklage has great offers

I don’t see Kit Harington and Maisie Williams going away from “the scene” in general any time soon. Richard Madden too, but I don’t know how much he’s viewed as a GoT actor anymore given that he wasn’t in it for anywhere near as long as the others. Harington & Madden are in Eternals, right? And Maisie Williams has the “young, exciting actor” that will be useful for some time. None of these young ‘uns are Peter Dinklage because they’re…young, and early-career actors. Dinklage has been in the industry for so long, that GoT felt like a reminder for the industry that he’s actually fantastic and should get a lot more attention.

Now, I have no idea why this does not ALSO apply to Lena Headey.

Also, let’s be honest, the last season sullied many of these characters in a lasting way. Emilia Clarke in particular. Maybe the one big exception is Maisie Williams whose arc was the best and probably the most complete and made actual sense.

Sophie just had a baby, Emilia is part of the Star Wars universe. Maisie is young. The series just ended.

And what exactly great work has Peter done since the series ended? Lol

I don’t know if Emilia being in the one flop SW movie speaks well for her career…

Not really. They filmed the last episode almost 3 years ago. It just have a very long post production

Emilia Clarke hasn’t had much success and has a limited acting range. I think she peaked with GOT.  Kit needs to do well with Eternals.

The only two of the younger actors I see having a successful post GOT career are Richard Madden and Alfie Allen maybe Dean Charles Chapman. They seem to be the only ones with a large body of work.

Clarke was in that awful Terminator. Sansa was in X Men. Dinklage had a lot of great offers: Michael Fassbender, a Western, Mel Gibson

Agree about Clarke. Clarke was only good in 1 rom-com

Tyrion was my number one in Game of Thrones. And his brother Jamie was my number two. I loved both. Why only Peter Dinklage?. Nicolaj Coster Waldau deserves Better

I can see Kevin Feige saving Emilia Clarke. She seems like a franchise actress. I do love her though.
