Is this saying snubs you supported like “I’m happy this got snubbed” or something you supported/liked that then got snubbed

    1) Parasite 2) The Farewell 3) Joker 4) Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 5) The Peanut Butter Falcon 6) Marriage Story 7) Luce 8) Yesterday 9) Hotel Mumbai 10) Avengers: Endgame

I admit to laughing when AFFLECK missed the BD nom for ARGO.

Wasn’t too upset when John Hawks missed the BA nom opposite Hunt.

Fassbender missed for Shame didn’t he? Can’t recall but awwwww!

There are others I’ll need to think about.

I kinda laughed when Cooper missed Director ngl, the way people bragged about it all season only for that to happen was just funny to me. Same with Affleck for Argo.

Sorry but as a fan I was so happy Timothée got snubbed for Beautiful Boy, his acting (and the movie) was ATROCIOUS, I’m glad the Academy agreed.

I can probably think of others, but I didn’t really mind when Amy Adams missed for Arrival. She was great and completely deserving of a nomination, but there were a lot of other deserving contenders, and she’s already been nominated many times. How many chances is Ruth Negga gonna get?

Bradley missing Directing made me cackle so hard. Almost as much as the overrated American Hustle going home 0/10 and getting punched in every single category by superior movies and performances

Also Kate Winslet for Wonder Wheel. The performance was actually good, but the thirst and desperation for a Blue Jasmine moment was so obvious, she needed to be clocked

And finally Saoirse Ronan for Mary Queen of Scots. This blatant, generic, soulless Oscar bait, just bye. I hope Erivo gets the same treatment

    Acting

    Amy Adams – Big Eyes

    Jennifer Aniston – Cake

Judi Dench – Victoria and Abdul

    Jennifer Lawrence – mother!

Jessica Chastain – All her oscar baits that flopped except A Most Violent Year

Emily Blunt – Mary Poppins Return (i was rooting for her because she is overdue for a nom, but she wasn’t that worth for a nomination for that performance. Deservee a nomination for AQP only.)

Nicole Kidman – Grace of Monaco, Destroyer, Boy Erased etc etc

Emma Stone – Battle of the sexes

    Sirsa and Margot – MQOS

    Directing

    Three Billboards

    Argo

    A Star is born

It’s pretty funny that people actually thought Mary Poppins Returns would get nominated for Best Picture and Best Actress just because the first one did over 50 years ago. I always knew Blunt would miss the nomination to Aparicio.

    For Your Consideration.

    Best Picture: Joker
    Best Actor: Joaquin Phoenix
    Best Adapted Screenplay: Joker

It was clear Aparicio was gonna quvenzhané-wallis the race. And a Disney children live action nominated at acting awards? In 2018? People just didn’t want to see it.

FYC: Jonathan Pryce for The Two Popes

I gotta admit Oscar choices tend to leave me sad but at least they didn’t commit the mistake of nominating Farrelly for directing.
