I don’t think there is a page for this yet so here we go. As reported two years ago by Deadline and recently mentioned in trial by producer Jerry Bruckheimer,

Margot Robbie and her Birds of Prey scribe Christina Hodson are in early talks to front a female-driven Pirates of the Caribbean movie at Disney. Hodson would write the script, and Robbie will star if the deal makes.

Pirates 5 had Depp and it was a fucking mess, the only saving grace that film had was the box office.

Hopefully Margot will drop out of this, this will get destroyed on social media and the audience reception will be a mess with all the support Depp has. Also, I really doubt people will go to the cinema to watch it after what happened with Depp.
