So I am thinking Elvis, Glass Onion and The Woman King will be passed over…. (I would love for She Said to show up here but I doubt it) I usually get 8 or 9 correct each year… BP: WF may just be wishful thinking on my part since it is genuinely puzzling to me that it hasn’t been getting nominations.

Wakanda Forever is a redo of the first film, except, it deals with grief in a more explicit way but outisde of being a tribute to Chadwick, there wasn’t much substance to it that hasn’t been seen in the first film. I like Wakanda more than the first one btw.

Also, Top Gun is literally the “film event” of the year and was riding the nostalgia wave, almost everyone likes it for whatever reason, they just do, something Wakanda couldn’t do, it couldn’t repeat the success of the first film (It’s grossing around half a billion less as well). The film just got buried by bigger films.
