Charlotte Rampling..she’s last, because I am racist against whites…..

You’re lying honey. You loved her performance and thought she was the best of the year. Do not let your own prejudice overshadow your judgment of her performance. πŸ˜‰

The nominated actresses this year were far better than the actors. I cannot at the HAMMY PERFORMANCES given by Ruffalo, Cranston or, specially and specifically, Redmayne. But that’s also because characters like all the 5 nominess in Best Actress and some in Supporting Actress were true mavericks. Rampling’s Kate, Blanchett’s Carol or Mara’s Therese are unique portrayals of women in though situations and the performers exceed the limits of talent with their presence and intelligence. I’ve ranked Mara higher than Blanchett because I liked her more but to me she’s lead. My supporting actress winner is Jennifer Jason Leigh and I keep imagining that Vikander won for Ex Machina, probably the most intriguing performance of the 2010s.

^I’d thought about it but there are lots of people who haven’t seen all 20 performances. So we can’t directly use a system that gives least point to that person’s last choice and most to their first choice or something similar. Would it be fair to give “15 out of 15 Redmayne” and “15 out of 20 McAdams” the same point?

But maybe we can use something that gives 1 point to the last choice and then increase that number one by one as the list goes on. If you have seen 18 movies, your most favourite will get 18 points, but everyone’s least favourite will always get 1 point. That would still be problematic as it would mean that the first choice of a poster who have seen fewer movies will get less points than the other one’s first choice that has seen them all. (even if they are just as passionate about their #1) But maybe it should be considered as a bigger privelege to top the list of someone who have seen more performances. I can use that.

Or you could just average their individual rankings.
