Counting the movies that are marketed to be among Quentin Tarantino’s 9 films, how would you rank them?

Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2 count as one film, Death Proof counts as one, while the films he wrote without directing (True Romance, Natural Born Killers, From Dusk Till Dawn) are not counted. Films that he received partial directing credit (Four Rooms, Sin City) are also not included.

Here is how I would personally rank his 9 films:
    1. Pulp Fiction
    2. Inglourious Basterds
    3. Jackie Brown
    4. Kill Bill
    5. The Hateful Eight
    6. Death Proof
    7. Django Unchained
    8. Reservoir Dogs
    9. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

Pulp Fiction is Tarantino masterpiece. He didn’t direct True Romance, but it’s his screenplay. It might be my favorite film with Tarantino’ s influence.
A huge fan. His quirkiness is mostly what I find the most endearing about him. He’s wild-assed in a conventional way…..

I am not a big fan of Tarantino’s and generally dislike all of his films; imo they are (almost) all revenge fantasies that glorify violence and drugs and also I find his films to all be wildly uneven as far direction and writing are concerned, but here’s how I rank the 9 I have seen:

    1. Jackie Brown, for it’s exquisite performances by Pam Grier and Robert Forster
    2. Inglorious Basterds, mainly for Christoph Waltz and Melanie Laurent
    3. The Hateful Eight, for Walton Goggins and Jennifer Jason Leigh and for it’s cinematography and score
    4. Reservoir Dogs, for it’s simplicity
    5. Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood, for Margot Robbie’s scenes as Sharon Tate and it’s production design elements
    6. Django Unchained, for Christoph Waltz’s terrific performance
    7. Kill Bill vol. 1
    8. Kill Bill vol. 2
    9. Pulp Fiction – which I blame for a style of film-making that has had a negative influence on film-makers ever since ):
    8.

True Romance is great. If I included it, I would have had it in my Top 3.

Pulp Fiction influenced Christopher Nolan and Paul Thomas Anderson to make making films their absolute focus.

That is how BIG it was.

I was trying to write a list from a “critic” point of view, but then I moticed how I didn’t feel so much difference among Tarantino’s films in terms of quality – all of them have interesting elements in their favour, and most of them have some problems too. Therefore this is based only on how much I love each of them.

    1. Death Proof
    2. Kill Bill
    3. Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood
    4. The Hateful Eight
    5. Jackie Brown
    6. Pulp Fiction
    7. Inglourious Basterds
    8. Reservoir Dogs
    9. Django Unchained
