I figured now would be a good time to rank all of the Oscar winners in any individual category from this past decade of the 2010s. Here’s how I rank the winners for Best Film Editing:

    1. Dunkirk
    2. The Social Network
    3. Hacksaw Ridge
    4. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
    5. Whiplash
    6. Ford v Ferrari
    7. Argo
    8. Gravity
    9. Mad Max: Fury Road
    10. Bohemian Rhapsody

So what’s your ranking? Even if you haven’t seen all 10 of these winners, feel free to rank the ones you have actually seen.

    10. Bohemian Rhapsody

The rhythm and pacing that Baxter, Wall, and Fincher create in their films has got to be the most influential craft of the century.

Wall doesn’t work with Fincher anymore (Gone Girl, Mank). Does anyone know why?

Ranking them is tough but yeah Bohemian Rhapsody is definitely 10 and I’m glad everyone can agree on that.
