I want to know the consensus here on what the ranking runners up would’ve been in the 6-10 era of nominees for Best Picture.

I also want to crunch the data easier so I can show this place my results, so I used a google form rather than just making a thread.

This thread will be primarily to share results for this and subsequent similar forms, but if people want to talk about their runner-up rankings, this is a nice place to do so.

Commentary

– The Irishman and Joker were a couple of points away from each other for 5th

– The Favourite and Bohemian Rhapsody went back and forth for 5th a few times

– La La Land was the only film to get 100% 2nd place votes.

– 2011 was the year most competitive for the 2nd place – Hugo and The descendants were only a couple of votes away

– Whiplash and American Sniper were the other way around, then I rechecked the data. It was very close.

– Extremely Loud and Terribly Close had the highest % of last place votes.
