I saw a dubbed version of the film but wasn’t she one of the few things that didn’t mercilessly suck in it? Alice Braga would be my pick for a nomination, she was awful all the way through.

    FYC:

Lead Actor: Mads Mikkelsen (Another Round)

Supporting Actress: Maria Bakalova (Borat Subsequent Moviefilm)

Supporting Actor: Paul Raci (Sound of Metal)

2020 is literally her year lol. 2021 looks like it will be a bigger one so let’s hope she doesn’t bring a more devastating pandemic along with her.

I’m sad to say but since Wild Mountain Thyme is getting panned even more than Hillbilly Elegy (which I didn’t dream could be possible) that Blunt, Dornan and Walken are all locks (especially Dornan, a Razzie favourite). I dare say Blunt and Adams will be favourites for the Worst Actress trophy. I mean there have been worse performances this year and movies but they do like to target bigger names…

    FYC:

Andrea Riseborough, Karim Saleh, Possessor/Luxor (Actress, Actor)
Rosamund Pike, Peter Dinklage, I Care a Lot (Actress, Supporting Actor)
Jim Broadbent, Helen Mirren, The Duke (Actor, Supporting Actress)
Sophia Loren, Abril Zamora, The Life Ahead (Actress, Supporting Actress)
Carey Mulligan, Promising Young Woman (Actress)

Well I’ve heard her character is extremely unpopular thanks to being a huge racist who never develops out of it, so I’m guessing that would be enough for them to nominate.

    James Corden for Worst Actor?

From what I’ve heard, he’s getting horrible reviews. People seem to really hate him in movies. I thought he was fine in The Prom. His character arc is worse than the actual performance.

    James Corden for Worst Actor?

I doubt James Corden will happen at the Razzies this time. Despite mixed reviews, The Prom has just enough of a veneer of respectability about it that the group probably won’t consider it even for their longlists. I’ve heard that Razzie voters consist mostly of straight men, which means they won’t care about the specific reasons Corden’s casting and performance have drawn such harsh criticism. (Not to mention, collectively they have extremely dull and conventional taste.) And unlike Pierce Brosnan in Mamma Mia, Corden can at least carry a tune.

That’s all the attention I intend to give the Razzies in these forums.

Will they nominate Lily James for Rebecca or will they be afraid of causing too much controversy?

Armie Hammer is locked for a nomination for sure.
