Between this and United States vs. Billie Holiday, which one do you think is better?

Wayans was phenomenal in Requiem for a Dream. He should do more dramatic roles.

(I keep hoping she’ll get some big screen roles worthy of her talent.) It sounds as though some of the supporting actors might not have been optimally utilized.

As an FYI, she’s won six Tony awards— the only person to win in both lead and supporting in both drama and musicals. She’s currently on TV on The Good Fight with Christine Baranski. If she’s barely in it, she’s seriously underutilized. (I’ve seen her on stage a number of times. She was mesmerizing as Bess in Porgy and Bess, and as Billie Holiday— there are some great clips on You Tube.)

McDonald’s been Emmy worthy in each season of The Good Fight. I hope she gets her due someday!

She won an Emmy for her performance in Sweeney Todd Live from Lincoln Center and also has a Grammy. She’s “only” an Oscar short of an EGOT.

It’s sad to think that the woman who played Billie Holliday so impeccably is now deemed too old to play people like Billie/Aretha in biopics because whenever she does—she’ll be fantastic!

Maybe take a minute then to Google “Broadway Legend Audra McDonald.” You’re welcome.
