Parasite should have also won Best Supporting Actress (either Cho Yeo Jeong or Lee Jung Eun) and Best Editing.
The Irishman trails at a close second.
This was a great year for movies but ironically the acting lineup feels pretty lackluster.

What an amazing performance. So happy the BAFTAs nominated her, one of their most inspired pre-jury picks.

Indeed it was a fantastic performance. Although I have no complaints about Zellweger winning the Oscar it was such a shame that Buckley, Moss and Woodard didn’t end up being in the conversation and that the televised awards paid Nyong’o dust (although thank goodness SAG nominated her).

We know the bias of the Academy against Horror or psychological thrillers, there is even an article about what an actor need to do to win an Oscar

I can’t believe this won Best Costume Design…a travesty, and one of the worst decisions ever made by the Academy.ReplyCopy URLFYC:
