Today there was an acting class. And we were asked about our favorite actor. I answered Robert De Niro without hesitation. And asked what he thought of him. He replied that he was a GOOD actor, but not a GENIUS. Frankly speaking, it shocked me. I asked who do you like. And at that moment I expected to hear the names of Gary Oldman, Marlon Brando, Daniel Day Lewis. And in the end I heard Leonardo DiCaprio. I have nothing against DiCaprio, but to say with such confidence that he is much better than DeNiro is VERY STRANGE. I personally think that DiCaprio is a genius, in situations when you need to play a person in a certain situation, what emotions he will show, not to mention the fact that he often replays (hello “revolutionary road”). But reincarnation and Leo are not related things (except “what’s eating gilbert grape”). And this is the most important thing in the acting profession. Write your thoughts I am very interested to read you.

I disagree. I think DiCaprio is a very limited actor. But DiCaprio only works with The Greatest Directors Of All Time. DiCaprio never worked with an awful or bad Director. De Niro worked in a lot of bad movies and maybe some younger people only saw De Niro in bad movies

I would say Pacino personally too. Especially when Pacino was young he was very natural like in The Godfather 1

Gary Oldman in León The Proffesional is perfection. Same with Chow Yun Fat in John Woo films
