Honestly, I think he could sneak in the 5th slot. Not probable, but there is a chance. The supporting actor category seems a bit weaker compared to lead.

If it is official, yes. He will be officially moved to the Supporting Actors lineup.

Correct. However Hollywood does not adjust for inflation because if they did not, there would be no “record-breaking” headlines for current movies

I know. It’s a complicated thing to calculate box office. And things such as re-viewing you can only guess at.
