Probably should have gone over my predictions before the show because although I got Boseman/Davis (!)/Kaluuya, I had Youn at 3rd ahead of Colman and Close (?) Not sure what I was thinking when I predicted that, or when I decided to not double-check my predictions today…

Green Book lost WGA and still won the Oscar. It’s not over for Chicago 7. Anything can happen.

Chicago 7 only won Screenplay at BAFTA because they love Sorkin. It’s clear that everyone else prefers PYW. I find it hard to imagine that film losing at BAFTA after overperforming so heavily in nominations there.

I had heard before that SAG loves Netflix, but wow. Both lead awards plus ensemble! Not to mention the TV Drama categories. Is this their best showing at SAG yet?

I wonder where Ma Rainey placed in the Ensemble votes (not to mention Oscar BP nominations, surely it just missed.

Youn’s speech was the purest thing in the world and loved seeing how happy in particular Colman, Close and Odom Jr. seemed for her.

Still celebrating Supporting Actress - Youn Yuh-jung (Minari)

Gosh, the category fraud conversation is so tired and ridiculous by now. Who is the lead in Fargo then? Everybody remembers this movie for Frances, are you delusional people?? Colman is the lead in The Favourite for the same reasons, also Davis in Ma Rainey, get a reality check.

Supporting Actress and Lead Actress will be very interesting at the Oscars and it is about time that we have seen different winners at the televised award shows.

I made a similar mistake, I had Close in first since when I updated the Oscar predictions I forgot to change the SAGs as well.

Can we take a moment to acknowledge how people spent like 5 hours trying to decipher Maria’s stylist’s IG post just for Yuh-jung to win💀💀💀💀💀

Glenn’s reaction was so sweet. You could see she was genuinely happy for her. I don’t even think Glennie wants to win tbh.

Green Book won PGA and the Globe and it missed WGA to a non factor.

If Chicago 7 had won WGA then yes, it could still have a chance. But just SAG won’t change anything.
