    Bit late here.

That Davis win shakes things up… both actress races this year could be major shocks at the Oscars.

Kinda glad about it. Makes things exciting. Don’t remember a year where every award show seemed to have different winners.

Dunno if it’s been mentioned already but all four individual SAG nominations for August Wilson roles resulted in wins.

    Waw!

Post-SAG, Boseman and Kaluuya are now locks.

The Best Supporting Actress race has narrowed down to Bakalova vs. Youn. Youn is currently the frontrunner; Bakalova can still pull an upset as long as (1) she wins BAFTA, and (2) Youn does NOT win ISA.

The Best Actress race is still wide open. All of the nominees except Day still have a chance to pull it off.  Davis is currently the frontrunner; Kirby can pull an upset as long as (1) she wins BAFTA, and (2) Davis does NOT win ISA; McDormand can pull an upset as long as she wins either BAFTA or ISA; Mulligan can pull an upset as long as (1) she wins ISA, and (2) McDormand does NOT win BAFTA.

5 if you include Alfre winning for The Piano Lesson in the 90s.

Yup. A 25 min Coca Cola commercial beat an Iconic performance we barely get to see compete for awards. Only at SAG. Only at SAG.

I loved that performance. SAG really loves Alfre

I could see BAFTA going to her too at this point

And both of the female roles were won by the same actress.

In retrospect Bakalova’s stylist was really smart to edit her IG post to add #nom.

If she hadn’t she might have given away exactly nothing because she never knew anything.

Iconic for you. Mulligans performance and film will be forgotten in the next year.

Y’all are acting like children. Hate to say it but it’s true. If you feel like you have to insult people because the person they were rooting for didn’t win or insult the performers who did win, you need a life and a job. Period
