Yup. A 25 min Coca Cola commercial beat an Iconic performance we barely get to see compete for awards. Only at SAG. Only at SAG.

    25 min Coca Cola commercial… lmaooo 💀

Also, interesting trivia, Michael Keaton now is officially the person that has been in the most SAG Ensemble winners, being in 3 of them (Birdman, Spotlight and Chicago 7). Everyone else has only been in 2 at most.

    Emmys FYC: Jean Smart.

The last time each televised award (before the Oscars) went to a different person was Sup. Actress in 2007. The Oscars then went with the BAFTA winner, Tilda Swinton. So, congratulations on your first Oscar, Vanessa Kirby.

The BAFTAs are powerful and they should never be underestimated, not even this year. But yeah, I don’t know about them this year 🤡

As hopeful as I am that Carey can pull it off, it’s not likely… I’ve accepted that Andra is probably  the frontrunner and PYW will get Screenplay for consolation. Time to campaign for Maestro

They don’t matter this year, we have no idea who the actual acting branch #1 choice was.

#12 for 2021 SAG Film Award Winners.

Wouldn’t be surprising if BAFTA went 4/4 for PoC.

Not a done deal. Andra’s Golden Globe bump will be long faded by Oscar night.

How do you figure it’s Andra? This season is too messy for any sort of certainty imo

Say what you want about the movies themselves but actors love the performances in them.

Frances and Vanessa will be in BAFTA voters minds when they start voting at the Oscars, if one of them wins.

I’m not 100% on it, but I think she benefits most from this fractured field. But I just don’t know who else.

there’s also an hour long special about her on ABC coming soon. She’s really campaigning

The Oscars will follow suit. This will be the first time in history where all of the acting winners will be POC.

Youn for Supporting Actress, Kaluuya for Supporting Actor, Day or Davis for Lead Actress and Boseman for Lead Actor
