We should look outside the OUTSIZED-BIG-NAME-CASTS as well. In light of that, I suggest Passing, The Harder They Fall (pretty darn starry actually!), maybe even The Lost Daughter. OK lol all of these are pretty starry.

    wouldn’t Mass be a non-big name contender?

Why the fuck isn’t In The Heights in your predictions?

Because it flopped big time and no one is talking about it anymore?

It did not flop mother fucker. You don’t know how many people streamed it.

Yeah, the possibility is always there that there was a sharp increase of viewership after the abysmal first numbers they published. Maybe it was a secret audience hit that’s so secret that no one’s allowed to talk about it.

Being the Ricardos as runner-up? Not happening.

It’s an Aaron Sorkin movie, they always get in for Ensemble

It’s not a matter of BTR getting in, it’s the fact that it more than likely won’t be a runner-up if it does. Only 1 Sorkin directed film has received a SAG Ensemble nomination btw.

You forget that he’s only directed two films before this? And you forget that The Social Network was nominated and how many times The West Wing was nominated (it won twice too)? Also, Trial just won SAG. While this list is based on who’s most likely to get in, it’s not crazy to assume it’d have a shot at winning

All of those projects were actual ensembles though. Being the Ricardos focuses primarily on Lucy & Desi’s relationship. That doesn’t sound like SAG bait IMO.

    2. Nightmare Alley
    3. The Humans
    4. The Harder They Fall
    5. House of Gucci

These are probably the most realistic predictions so far. The exclusion of THTF in many users’s hypothetical lists is puzzling. It feels like such an obvious Ensemble contender.
