Adapted Screenplay is SO chaotic. I’m very tempted to predict TPOTD in Adapted and CODA in BP because it kinda makes sense for voters to spread the love this way if the BP race is neck to neck but it’s also unsettling to think that TPOTD would win Adapted but then lose BP.

it’s a mess. Right now I have TPOTD for picture and Coda for screen play, but I might switch it. But then again, just like you said, it would be crazy for Dog to win screenplay and director but not movie.

Most of them are real. This year I think they’re all real.

Dude hated like half the nominees, didn’t finish DMC, and took no less than TEN VIEWINGS to get through POTD. Damn.

She self-aggrandized herself by making it about how she has to compete with men, but that is by no means a detriment anymore; she is not the Rosa Parks of female directors, and The Power of the Dog is not a feminist film.”
This is an interesting take… it seems less about her comments towards the Williams sisters and more about how they find her a bit self-indulgent. Though, this person’s comments are definitely… questionable, since being a female director is certainly still a detriment since you can still count on two hands the number of female director nominees and still count on one hand the amount of winners. So, interesting take I guess.

Yep, lots of hate for LP in these anonymous ballots. At least 2 have said they’re not voting for it based on the controversies.
