“Renate Reinsve was wonderful [in The Worst Person in the World] and should have been nominated. The performances of all of the nominated women were stunning, but I thought that [Parallel Mothers’] Penelope Cruz gave the best performance of the year, and her movie should have been nominated too.”

What a surprise, Feinberg published another ballot that’s anti-Dog! If you only read THR anonymous ballots you would have a hard time believing that TPOTD received 12 nominations. Anyway, cinematography seems to be really neck-and-neck between Dog and Dune.

Both of them work non stop and Both are deserving.
But I am very biased here so of course my choice is Frasier. As much as I’d love to see a woman win esp after I read that inclusion was pathetic in the craft areas…

Both movies deserve recognition in cinematography and original score in my opinion. I would be happy if they took one each, so I’m rooting for Ari Wegner.

This is the same jerk who wrote that “The big hoopla about The Power of the Dog was because a woman made this movie; if a man had made this movie, it would have been treated as just kind of average.” Right. The film received twelve Oscar nominations— SEVEN of them for for MEN— solely because “a woman made this movie.”
