November 23, 2020 at 2:25 pm #1203858467I don’t know if Judas and the Black Messiah will be eligible here. That movie looks expensive
ReplyCopy URLNovember 23, 2020 at 6:35 pm #1203859197Seems like Nomadland is going to be the biggest frontrunner here, but considering A24’s big successes the last few years here, my hopes of Minari taking home Feature, Director, Male Lead, and Supporting Female are a much larger plausibility!
“Minari is wonderful, wonderful”

This is my dream. I can’t say for sure yet but I think Minari will be one of my favorites of the season and seeing it collect some awards would be wonderful

I think it will be either MINARI or ONE NIGHT IN MIAMI to receive the Robert Altman award. Overall, I think ONE NIGHT IN MIAMI will underperform at the indie spririt awards, but it will score acting and Best First Feat nods

https://cinemaandpopcorn.blogspot.com/November 24, 2020 at 3:58 am #1203860461I’m tempted to put Mulligan in as my predicted winner. I really do see her as the Isabelle Huppert of this season (except I think Mulligan’s film will be stronger).

I think the indie spirit is an organization that will go after your dear Kirby’s performance in PIECES OF A WOMAN
