Excited to see Laverne’s reaction to PYW’s overperformance.
Just watch her getting nominated. I know it’s not happening but just imagine her reaction. Girl would die…
ReplyCopy URLJanuary 21, 2021 at 4:47 pm #1203995226Laverne Cox, Barry Jenkins and Olivia Wilde will be presenting the nominations.
Cox would show up to an envelope opening.

It’s a hit with the Independent group and Mulligan’s performance is very popular. I would be shocked to see her getting snubbed or a PYW underperformance.
Yeah I wrote that back in December lol.
Me counting down the days to Carey’s eventual win.

InB4 they pull an Emmys and Olivia goes, “and congrats Laverne, you are a nominee this morning”.

Driveways already competed last year. Sadly, Brian wasn’t nominated.

Ah, ’tis pity. He really should’ve (though I guess there wasn’t the swansong narrative back then yet).

January 22, 2021 at 9:39 am #1203996127Right now One Night In Miami… makes the most sense for the Robert Altman award. It’s usually big ensembles, so it would make sense. I can also see Nomadland or Promising Young Woman take the award. But I’m quite confident in the first one.

A member told me the opposite – it’s not eligible for consideration due to its budget.
