I know I posted a post about this a few months ago, but now that Oscar season is heating up, I’m still wondering why there are no podcasts from any Oscar experts up. I know they must be very busy, but they are one of my very favorite parts of the Oscar seasons and it’s sad none of them have happened yet. Any thoughts?November 11, 2016 at 11:55 pm #1201949491
I’ve been wondering the same thing. No slugfests,no podcasts. Globe and SAG nominations are in December. If you look back at past years by now they would have already had more then one.November 12, 2016 at 4:17 pm #1201949783

Still nothing. I just checked Itunes and it looks like last year they started in and around November 21st so fingers crossed we start to see some soon.November 18, 2016 at 1:21 pm #1201952923
I would rather listen to podcasts than slugfests, personally, and since Goldderby has decided not to do podcasts anymore I’ve had to switch to AwardsWatch for podcasting. Very disappointing.November 18, 2016 at 1:29 pm #1201952933
Nice I’ve never tried Awards Watch I’ll be sure to give them a listen. Awards Daily is a pretty good podcast to check out, I didn’t mind it.November 18, 2016 at 4:52 pm #1201953033
AwardsWatch is just the worstNovember 18, 2016 at 5:04 pm #1201953044
I didn’t know there were so many Nicole Kidman fans on there. Or Jennifer Lawrence stans. Gross.November 18, 2016 at 5:20 pm #1201953046
Awards watch is awful.November 18, 2016 at 6:58 pm #1201953071
For podcasts, go to hollywoodreporter.com and under Awards Chatter they have plenty of good and recent podcasts.November 18, 2016 at 10:50 pm #1201953129
Totally wish GD would go back to making more podcasts.
Sasha Stone and Ryan Adam’s new podcast, All This and the Oscars Too, and Vanity Fair’s Little Gold Men are really great.
Give Paul Thomas Anderson an Oscar.November 20, 2016 at 2:15 am #1201953563
Why did they stop? Can anybody tell me or give me a link if they made an official announcement on here?Riley (the normal one, not the one who won the predictions contest)ParticipantNovember 20, 2016 at 1:24 pm #1201953723
I think that Gold Derby just has other priorities (interviews, events, readable content) and I would expect more analysis once we are out of voting periods.
