I still think Nightmare Alley is more likely to be a 2022 awards contender.

    This.

    The film screams Cannes premiere.

I think Jane Fonda is the strongest contender for Cecil B DeMille.

But I also think Whoopi, Tom Cruise, Mel Brooks and Diane Keaton are other possibilities.

Amsterdam won’t make it this year, they haven’t even started shooting yet.
    It’ll be likely a 2021 release.

Good point however we know David O. Russell shoots very very fast. Anything can happen between now and December 31st but yes I agree it probably is missing.

First of all GG don’t  have two categories for Screenplay, they only have Best Screenplay. Second and just out of curiosity, why do you have Hillbilly Elegy getting nominations across the board (and even winning Actress and Screenplay) but not Glenn in Supporting? Specially considering that (on paper) she has a winning role.

Palm Springs is such a great comedy (and one of my favorite films of the year so far) and I could totally see it nominated for Musical or Comedy, especially since a lot of the competition has moved to 2021. Andy Sandberg and Cristin Milioti are totally deserving of a nomination as well.

Later today or tomorrow I’ll be doing my predictions for this.
