    Sony Picture Classics acquired The Duke for domestic distribution. I expect that to be a contender for the Comedy categories. Helen Mirren and Jim Broadbent are surely getting nominated.

    Man that comedy field looks empty. I figured French Dispatch or West Side Story would win, but the former looks unlikely to make the cut and the latter is gone. Maybe French Exit, which looks like it could get some buzz outside of just the Globes. All the other options look hopeless.
