To those of us in the US, is there any chance of cinemas getting re-opened soon?

Yes,  some discussion is going on.. but movie shooting is big problem…

I don’t know if this is true but I’ve heard that meetings are in progress about either or not cinemas might re-open in July.

I hope this is true. I miss cinema already.

Also… I must have been sleeping, because I had no idea that Sofia Coppola’s On the Rocks was acquired by Apple+ as mentioned in the article above.

Has anyone heard the song “Love Myself” from The High Note that was just released? I was surprised to hear that it was Tracee’s debut single.

I am not sure if the AMPAS will respond to it, but I feel like it has good chances of being embraced by the Golden Globes/Hollywood Foreign Press. Thoughts?

Ugh really? Apple+ has literally no other interesting content.

Dumb people, they won’t be open for long. Things will get out of control and they’ll close again.

I like that you’ve predicted Andra Day for Best Actress, and the US vs. Billie Holiday for Adapted Screenplay. Not many people are talking about this movie, but it was directed by Lee Daniels and written by Suzan-Lori Parks (who won a Pulitzer for Drama), so I see some big potential there.
